I am a (soon-to-be) first-year PhD student with the Institute of Machine Learning at the University of Edinburgh, supervised by Bonan Zhao and supported by the Martingale Foundation. I am interested in studying the foundations of agency using the methods of reinforcement learning and traditions from the philosophy of mind.
Currently, I split my time between Cambridge and London. In July, I will be visiting the RLAI lab at the University of Alberta, and in August, I will be attending the Reinforcement Learning Conference in Montréal.
Previously, I studied for the Computer Science Tripos at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, and wrote my Part III (Master's) thesis on "Learning Structure for Active Inference in Reinforcement Learning".
